Blue Moon

I spent a few days meticulously planning this shot of the Blue Super Moon, ensuring every aspect from the moon's path to its luminous glow over Sumner's Shag Rock was perfect. Arriving early, Sumner's tranquillity set the scene, lots of anticipation building.

Did you know? Only 3% of all full moons are blue moons. This Super Moon, larger by 14% and brighter by 30%, made the night even more surreal.
This happens only once every 20 years give or take.
