General

By making a payment, you confirm that you accept all the terms and conditions listed below.

You must be 16 years or older to attend one of my workshops.

Booking and Payment

Bookings are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

Your spot in a workshop is only confirmed once full payment has been received.

Full payment is required at the time of booking. I do not accept deposits or part payments.

All payments must be made via online bank transfer. Payment details will be provided upon confirmation of your booking.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation

If you need to cancel, please let me know in writing at info@paulwilsonimages.com

If I’m able to fill your spot with someone else, I’ll refund you in full—but please understand I can’t guarantee that will happen.

If you can’t make it, you’re welcome to transfer your spot to someone else. Just let me know their details first, and I’ll need to approve the change.

No refunds will be given for no-shows or for participants who leave the workshop early.

I understand life happens and things come up. I’ll always try to be fair and flexible, but please also understand that a lot of planning, time, and costs go into preparing these workshops.

Force Majeure

In rare cases, I may need to cancel or postpone a workshop due to factors beyond my control—like severe weather, illness, natural disasters, or travel restrictions.

If a workshop is postponed, your payment will be credited toward the rescheduled event.

In the unlikely event a workshop has to be cut short partway through, I’ll work with you to find a fair solution, but I can’t be held responsible for any costs you may incur.

Insurance

I don’t hold insurance for your personal circumstances, travel, medical needs, or your equipment.

I strongly recommend you arrange:

• Travel insurance in case you need to cancel, or if the workshop is postponed

• Medical insurance for any health-related needs

• Personal and third-party insurance for your gear and property

I can’t accept responsibility for any loss, injury, or expenses related to lack of insurance.

Itinerary Changes

If weather or other natural factors limit photography opportunities, I may need to change the itinerary.

I also reserve the right to make changes if I believe better opportunities exist elsewhere.

You acknowledge that landscape photography depends on many variables, and results can’t be guaranteed.

Fitness, Health & Behaviour

Please consider your own fitness level before booking.

Let me know at the time of booking—and again before the workshop—if you have any medical or fitness concerns that could affect the trip.

If I believe your health or fitness could negatively affect the experience for you or others, I may need to withdraw you from the workshop. Refunds will follow the cancellation policy above.

Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour won’t be tolerated. Anyone behaving in a way that impacts the experience for others may be removed without a refund.

By joining, you agree to:

• Accept the risks involved in outdoor and photographic activities

• Accept possible delays, itinerary changes, and inconveniences

• Disclose any relevant medical conditions

• Be fit enough for the nature of the workshop

• Carry appropriate clothing and gear

• Have suitable insurance—or accept the risk of not having it

• Release me (Paul Wilson) from liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from the workshop

Loan Gear

If I provide any photography equipment or gear, you're responsible for it while it's in your care. You may be liable for repair or replacement in the case of loss, theft, or damage.

Waiver of Liability

I’ll always do my best to keep you safe and deliver a fantastic experience—but outdoor photography comes with risks.

By signing up, you acknowledge and accept that I can’t be held liable for injuries, illness, accidents, delays, equipment loss, or any other unexpected events.

Promotion

I sometimes take photos or videos during workshops, and you may appear in this material. These may be used on my website, social media, or for promotional purposes.

If you’d rather not be included in any promotional material, just let me know when you book.

Privacy

Any personal information you provide—like your name and contact details—is only used for booking and communication related to the workshop.

Your details will remain private and won’t be shared with anyone else.

You’re welcome to request a copy of any personal info I hold about you, or to ask for it to be corrected.
